Since 1996, Itasca Woodland Services has been serving northwestern MN with a wide range of forest management activities. Whether you want some help making your slice of the north woods all that you want it to be, or assistance managing large tracts for timber production, IWS can help you get the most out of your investment.



About the owner

Stan Grossman has an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Forest Resources Management from Vermilion Community College in Ely, MN. After graduating in 1988, he began contracting forest inventory services out to Federal, State, County and private organizations until 1994.

He then spent a year doing volunteer work, and subsequently expanded his business to include private consulting to individual landowners. Stan Grossman is also a member of the Minnesota Forestry Association and the Society of American Foresters
