Red Lake, MN -- Continuous Forest Inventory

Native American Foresters conduct their own continuous forest inventory in order to help guide their sustainable forest philosophy, and determine their annual "allowable harvest" . The same 1/5 acre plots are re-measured about every 15 years. Natural changes in forest composition, age and overall health are thus captured. Itasca Woodland Services has had the privelege of serving several of Minnesota's Native American tribes.
